French Quarter Wedding at the Marché: Chelsea & Russell

SoCal + Nola
Chelsea and Russell brought their Southern California style to meet Nola’s romantic side creating the loveliest of Spring weddings at the Marché.
A deeply personal touch came from Chelsea’s mom, who created all the florals for the day. It was so special to Chelsea to have her mom’s love and talent woven into such an important part of their celebration—it truly made the day even more meaningful. Weddings are so much about families, after all.
They really embraced the essence of New Orleans, starting with portraits in the park and ending with a celebration in the French Quarter. And, of course, in classic NOLA fashion, a pedi-cab was waiting to whisk them away after their sparkler exit.

Let’s never leave out the love part of the story

Capturing the essence of New Orleans from the French Quarter to Audubon Park and back again.
Like postcards from Nola
Chelsea and Russell feel in love with the look of park portraits but their wedding venue was in the French Quarter, so we all hopped on buses and went uptown for photos. Since they opted not to do a first look, Liz and I took them to opposite sides of the park to keep them separated.
We had the most beautiful park day and the photos turned out wonderfully. Win, win!
Out of this world florals by the mother-of-the-bride.
Soft Hues + Bold Reds
Chelsea’s mother, owner of Southern Roots, in collab with In Blume created the dreamiest scene at the Marche. From the tablescape, to the bride’s bouquet, to the cake meadow; it was stunningly beautiful and perfectly designed.
The Highlights
All day gorgeousness. We can’t get enough.
“Thank you, thank you, thank you! … I am truly smiling from ear to ear!”
